where material meets immaterial

somehow the top of this

where it meets the heavens, reminds me of this
a Rothko, which reminds me of this
the Hancock, especially in fog.

It’s all about what is here, and what is not here.
Solid becoming spirit.

For the Japanese it looks like this

Mt. Fuji.
And in Norse mythology, think

Valhalla. So we come full circle.

In Beowulf Valhalla is the shining citadel.
