A new way to understand disputes about global warming

02/10/2008

For years I’ve consulted Arts & Letters Daily for all my humanities news.

Now, its founder, Denis Dutton, gathers the best articles on climate change (a much better title than global warming, he said during a frigid cold Chicago and Boston winter.)

Climate Debate Daily breaks the debate down usefully and clearly, into “Calls for action,” and “Dissenting Voices.”

Remember, poorly-designed and constructed American buildings are a leading source of heat-trapping carbon emissions and wasteful energy consumption. And they’ll be with us for a while! A car designed today will likely be off the road within ten or twenty years; buildings – good or bad – will probably be around for 50 years or more.
